tendrils on the beach

A recent image of the artist featured at the end of Feb/beginning of March.
To appreciate the scale, this is half of the image... it extends back towards you by as much as it extends in front!

Hi guys!
This year I'll be putting up fewer shots, but hopefully improving the quality at the same time. Sort of a 'best of' if you like.
This community is terrific in so many ways - I love it even if I don't often comment. The people on here make it a great place to be.

Spectacular! I didn't realize how huge the scale of his work was. I like how this shot includes the gorgeous blue ocean and waves along with the gorgeous sand art.

@dYe: I am almost oblivious to the sea now, I hardly see it and hardly ever take photo's of it!! Funny that, must have a go at just taking shots of the water.... Yes his work is huge!

@Stu: Not that wonderful for surfing though! And ccccooollldd, (yeah, I'm a diver, and I have a 7mm wetsuit - without that protection I won't get in the water!).
Thanks Stu, I should really take some more, I get a bit blase about it, it's such a commonplace scene and so close to home!!

Fantastic work. The people really show off the scale of this art. I'm glad the tide didn't come in. And you've done well to keep the memory of this piece even though it's long gone by now.

Fabulous shot - the scale and how the design and the waves compliment each other. How long did he take on this?

@Carol: He takes about an hour and a half, perhaps slightly more or less depending on the weather or how he feels or the creative muse! Great to watch, there are always people watching from above him, on the pier, and they throw coins down to his hat which helps him keep the wolf from the door!

@Art Monkey: Absolutely he has no money, no it's my donation to him to document what he does, and share it with as many as I can. Sort of a tribute to his creativity.
