Overlooking Lyttelton Harbour

@Dan Meyers: Thanks Dan - new ps process with overlay with gaussian blur over the base image. I think it gives depth and warmth - but I have to say this was a wonderful evening with wonderful light.

@objectif-P: It's a nice place except in a southerly! Then it's freeeeeeezing cold, and in winter loses the sun very early in the afternoon. But it's very quaint.

@Colour blind: Ahh, my man is real romantic you know!!

@Jerry: We're really lucky living where we do - most of Christchurch is on the plain, while just 10 minutes away we have these steep hills.

@Jen: Thanks - actually the photo worked really well - not sure how/why, but the light was lovely.

@Jason Kravitz: There are very few times I go out without the camera (or the compact) in my handbag. Makes for a very heavy and large handbag - but then again you get some awesome shots!!

@frank: Thanks, it really was a case of grabbing the shot while I could because Bo was driving the boat, and we were on the move!!

@Chris Sullivan: I think they're powerlines Chris - I was pleased with the detail too - as I said to someone else, new process on photoshop, and I added in a high pass sharpening (an action I downloaded from someone).
It really brought up the detail.

It was a great night, really enjoyed it. Only a couple of pix worthwhile, but I'll try to get some more posted.
