A light in the window

Slowly ~ the shadows of evening have grown,
Still, I keep watch on the glow ahead;
The light in the window leads me home,
I am blessed and my soul is fed.

I have been experimenting with working with a limited palette of colours, and some blur and glow to create a gentle image that is slightly old-fashioned without losing too much detail. Amazing what having to sit still and rest a lot does for the creative eye!
Thanks for visiting and commenting, and once again my apologies for not being active in the community at this time, my brain is needing to rest!!

Hi guys!
This year I'll be putting up fewer shots, but hopefully improving the quality at the same time. Sort of a 'best of' if you like.
