Is this April Fool's?
The true Kiwi bloke's innovation lives on in Kaikoura... Kiwi's are known for their ability to create anything with a bit of number 8 fencing wire, and a 4 x 2. Well I suppose the addition of some rope and an old truck is OK too...
Hi guys! This year I'll be putting up fewer shots, but hopefully improving the quality at the same time. Sort of a 'best of' if you like. This community is terrific in so many ways - I love it even if I don't often comment. The people on here make it a great place to be. I'm also writing a health-related blog - if you're interested, hop on over to http://healthskills.wordpress.com/ and make yourself known!

hmmmm - this is a very interesting photo - I love the use of the magnifying glass - I don't think I would want to work on that job though - too scary

@Still: thanks Still - the photo or the ingenuity!! The photo is horrible, but the creative 'genius' of the person who actually did it - priceless!
Too funny! LOL! Although I guess it wouldn't be funny if you got hurt with that stuff! Good work here.

@Craiger: I'm just wishing I had the temerity to send this to the Health and Safety people in Kaikoura! You would not get me up that scaffold!! He didn't even have a hard hat on or any safety harness and it went two stories!!
that's innovation for you. If this was in Japan the only thing that would be missing is the million warning lights a dummy guard waving a mechanical arm and a real dummy guard waving his real arm. Happy April fools.

@Colour blind: You're kidding me!!! Actually, no you're probably not - there are some very scary health and safety practices that I saw over there!
Very funny. Great capture! ;)

Hell of a collage you've got here! The magnifying glasses are really a cool touch.

@amy: Thanks - it's not really a wonderful assemblage, but I couldn't resist showing just what lunatics there are out here!!
Terrific composition, well done.
