This wee pansy survives in a crack in our driveway, without watering, feeding or love - until now!
Hi guys!
This year I'll be putting up fewer shots, but hopefully improving the quality at the same time. Sort of a 'best of' if you like.
This community is terrific in so many ways - I love it even if I don't often comment. The people on here make it a great place to be.
I'm also writing a health-related blog - if you're interested, hop on over to http://healthskills.wordpress.com/
and make yourself known!
I just love pansies...so pretty and colorful, but also have a great ability to rise back up even after being ignored all winter!!! : )
Love the title and the shot!!

@Jen: Thanks Jen - they are a cute wee flower, and quite prolific, I love self-seeding plants (except weeds).
It is amazing how they survive! I have one plant that I thought had died and now it has five pansy flowers on it - very pale compared to this one. I love them - got perrenial small ones in a border at the front and they haven't all come back. Really nice shot Bronnie :-)

@Anne: Thanks Anne - bit of a fluke really, I had some in the main flowerbed, but they didn't do too well - so how this one survived I really don't know!
Great close-up Bronnie! I, too, love pansies. The depth of their velvety colour is what draws me in. Hopefully, mine will come back... of course, it would help if I got off the computer and went outside to clean up the flower beds!! ;-D

@amy: I kill indoor plants - the outdoor ones are all labelled 'hardy', or they wouldn't survive!!
